FEEDBACK LOOPS

14 of 26

The more access Learning Algorithms* have, to medical literature raw health data, the more value they can add, but learning algorithms require training to improve, and that requires feedback so they can assess efficacy and optimize diagnosis and treatment over time. By extension, the more sensor data** the better, even when those sensors are only providing context (as opposed to providing medical grade health data).

In this episode, Dr. Byrne explains why we believe that the adoption of an ever expanding  set of inputs / data is inevitable in health, and shares his perception of why this has critical implications both to health systems and to health innovators.
